Biography

Matteo started his professional career as a business analyst in the tech and banking industry. Very soon he realized he had an entrepreneurial spirit and in 2004 he founded Wyscout together with a couple of friends. The hobby became a company and in 2008 Matteo resigned from his banking employment to dedicate himself full time to the development of Wyscout.

Wyscout today is the most used professional football platform in the world, with customers in 90 countries and a staff of more than 400 people.

Matteo is a frequent speaker at numerous international events on sport business, entrepreneurship and new technologies. Leveraging the experience of Wyscout, in 2015 he cofounded Wylab, the first Italian sportstech incubator.

He will share his unique experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, and scouting with The FBA candidates.
