Monique has 25 years’ experience in Strategic and Leadership Consultancy, Inclusive Leadership people development and EDI Consultancy. She is a professional, creative and passionate business owner, leadership consultant, facilitator and coach, with a proven track record in delivering consultancy and programs that have a positive and sustained impact on boards and employees. She consistently addresses and researches cutting edge cultural and performance needs within organisations, as well as partnering with senior executives to produce the most beneficial leadership strategy for their organisations. She has forged long term relationships with several clients, some of whom she has been working with for over 10 years and has provided solutions to organisations in the UK, Europe, US, Hong Kong, Singapore and India.

Monique has extensive experience in driving up business and board performance through strategic people development and robust governance and combines a 27-year track record as a strategic leadership consultant with a portfolio of board positions. Currently Monique is a Non-Exec Director for Premier League club Brentford FC, where she is a board champion for EDI and Wellbeing, and the safeguarding lead, she is a board director for Women in Football. In this time, she has worked with public organisations, blue-chip corporates, and education to achieve board and operational excellence through advising on their member and trustee diversity, senior leadership and executive performance management process and metrics, investment in people, and ways to implement core business policies and mitigate risk. She possesses strong commercial acumen as a business owner and consultant that is utilised to drive strategic culture change at all levels of seniority and champions diversity and changes attitudes towards inclusion, to both unlock opportunities for people as well as value for businesses.

During the last 10 years Monique has taken a keen interest in how leadership practices influence increasingly diverse workforces. Today’s leader needs to have an extensive repertoire and understand the importance of how leadership impacts people’s motivations and a feeling of being included in their workplaces, and in key decisions so that employees feel aligned with their organisation’s purpose, business strategy and experience a sense of belonging. This interest has propelled her to develop a new Inclusive Leadership model to help executive leaders ensure inclusion is an outcome of strategically aligned processes situated at the organisational, interpersonal and individual levels.
