Why The FBA?
The FBA combines specialised football business education, practical industry experience and an international professional network to prepare Candidates for the realities of a global and constantly evolving industry.
The FBA Approach
The FBA experience is built around three interconnected pillars designed to prepare Candidates for the professional realities of the football industry.
01
Build a specialised understanding of football business through industry-focused courses, current case studies and professionals with first-hand experience across different areas of the game.
02
Apply what you learn through a guaranteed three-month internship, field trips, industry projects and real professional environments, turning theory into practical understanding.
03
Connect with experts, organisations, partners, alumni and fellow Candidates from around the world, building relationships that extend beyond the programme itself.
One Integrated Experience
These three pillars are not separate parts of the programme. They reinforce one another throughout the FBA journey, connecting what Candidates learn with the people they meet and the environments in which they apply that knowledge.
The FBA In Numbers
Industry recognition, graduate outcomes and a growing international network provide measurable evidence of The FBA's position within football business education.

Projects and collaborative work challenge Candidates to apply football business knowledge to practical problems, developing the judgement and skills required in professional environments.
Where It Started
The idea for The Football Business Academy originated in Switzerland in 2015, at a moment when football was facing growing questions around governance, professionalism and the long-term development of the industry.
At the same time, football was expanding rapidly across established and emerging markets, increasing the need for professionals with the knowledge, judgement and practical understanding required to operate effectively within the game.
The FBA was developed around a simple conviction: better education can contribute to a more professional, sustainable and forward-looking football industry. That principle continues to shape how we educate current and future industry leaders today.
Alumni Perspectives
The value of the FBA experience is best understood through the people who have lived it and taken their next steps across the football industry.
