Biography
Kate Porter represents a wide variety of clients in litigation and international arbitration matters, with a particular emphasis on sports-related disputes. Her experience includes representing major sports leagues and organizations in high-profile investigations and disputes, as well as serving as clerk to the Panel in several cases before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Within football, Ms. Porter has represented a sports marketing company in a high-profile dispute relating to the commercial rights to an international football tournament, a Vice President of the Asian Football Confederation in proceedings before the FIFA Ethics Committee and FIFA Appeal Committee and other football stakeholders in disputes arising out of the organization of football competitions.
She will lecture on U.S. professional sports.
