The Football Business Academy and Göztepe SK have entered into an agreement that will see the Swiss educational institution collaborate with the Turkish sports club.

The Football Business Academy is pleased to announce its partnership with Göztepe Spor Kulübü. The club is based on the Aegean coast in Turkey’s third largest city, Izmir, where it plays its home games at the newly built 25,000-seater Gürsel Aksel Stadium. As with many clubs in Turkey, Göztepe SK is a multi-sport club which means that, besides football, it has departments in other sports such as handball, swimming, and fencing. On the football side, Göztepe SK plays in the top-tier Turkish Süper Lig and is known for having one of the most devoted and passionate fan bases in the country.
Furthermore, the privately owned club has been doubling down on improving its digitalization, commercial, and data science efforts, among others, while aiming to continue a sound financial management with a goal of running zero debt.
As part of the agreement, Göztepe SK will welcome FBA Candidates for internship and Student Business Project opportunities that are aligned with the club’s needs and strategic interests, as well as with the Candidates’ learning objectives encompassed in their Professional Master in Football Business curriculum.
