Wolves and The FBA Join Forces

The Football Business Academy (The FBA) is thrilled to announce its educational partnership with Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers FC (Wolves), further expanding the ever-growing FBA partnership network around the world.

“It’s a real pleasure welcoming Wolves into The FBA Family. The club’s history and international outlook make it a fascinating environment for FBA Candidates to sharpen their skill set. There are great synergies to build on and I look forward to seeing the results come to life in the coming months and years.

Kristian Dobrev, Deputy CEO, The FBA

With this mutually beneficial alliance, The FBA and Wolves jointly seek to foster collaboration on strategically significant subjects, unlocking valuable opportunities for both organizations. The primary objectives include providing a comprehensive learning environment for FBA Master Candidates—future industry professionals—through first-hand experiences such as internships in different departments of the club and Student Business Projects (SBPs), contributing to Wolves’ current or future projects with high-quality research, fresh ideas, and international perspectives from FBA Candidates. This past winter, a group of Candidates from the 12th Edition presented a project to a club representative in an on-campus detailed session, marking the end of their program.

We at Wolves were truly impressed by the extraordinary efforts demonstrated by everyone involved with the FBA over the past few months. The FBA Candidates delivered an exceptional exploration into a project outlined by the Club, showcasing not only their professionalism and eagerness but also surpassing our expectations with their outstanding output. We take great pride in continuing our collaboration with the FBA, eagerly anticipating the next project ahead.

Todd Newton, Senior Marketing Manager, Wolves

Established in 1877, Wolves were founder members of the English Football League, representing the world’s first domestic football league. They play their home matches at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, with a current capacity of over 30,000 attendees. Molineux has also hosted special football moments, including English national team matches and the first UEFA Cup Final in 1972.

Since July 2006, the club has been owned by Fosun International, a world-class investment group with broad roots in China. Away from the pitch, Wolves are becoming more than just a football club, with brand verticals in esports, music, and fashion helping to diversify the Wolves brand and provide compelling commercial propositions for new partners.

The FBA is thrilled to join forces with Wolves and to find an ally in the club towards their mission of contributing to the professionalization of the industry through top-notch education, also aligned with the club’s business and development strategy.
