REQUIREMENTS & PROCESS

At The Football Business Academy, Admissions is based on more than academic results or a traditional CV.

We assess each Candidate holistically, taking into account their academic and professional background, motivation, career objectives, communication skills, overall readiness and fit with the Professional Master in Football Business.

Previous experience in football or sports is not required. Candidates come from a wide range of industries and academic backgrounds, with many using the programme to transition their existing skills into the football industry.

To be eligible for our Professional Master in Football Business, Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Academic or professional background

Candidates should generally hold a university degree or have relevant professional experience. The degree or professional background does not need to be related to football or sports. For Candidates without a completed university degree, around three years of relevant professional experience is typically a useful guideline, although every profile is assessed individually.

English proficiency

As the programme is delivered entirely in English, Candidates must be comfortable studying, communicating and participating in English across classes, group work, networking activities and professional environments. A formal English-language certificate such as IELTS or TOEFL is not required. English proficiency is assessed as part of the Admissions process.

Motivation and readiness

We look for Candidates who demonstrate clear motivation to understand and contribute to the football industry, together with the maturity and commitment required to complete an intensive professional postgraduate programme.
