In his role as Marketing and Media Director of Liverpool Football club Markus was a member of Executive Board the club. As a senior international marketing and digital media leader with 20+ years of experience he worked with global A-brands like Nike, Sony, adidas, and HTC.

Markus has a strong brand, digital and commercial growth track record in consumer, sport, tech, mobile communications, lifestyle, media, entertainment and digital industries.
Global and regional marketing leadership experience in the fields of:  Brand Management, Digital, Social Media, Sports Marketing, Internet of Things (IoT), Sponsorships, Football, Virtual Reality (VR), e-commerce, Integrated Marketing, Advertising,  Action and outdoor sports.
