Jérôme Champagne is a former French diplomat who served from 1983 to 1998 in Muscat, Oman, Havana, Cuba, Los Angeles and Brasilia, and then served as an executive at FIFA from 1999 to 2010.
He transitioned from diplomacy to football as a result of the 1998 FIFA World Cup, where he was Diplomatic Advisor and Chief of Protocol of the French organizing committee. He then joined FIFA where he successively held the positions of international adviser to the President, Deputy Secretary General, Delegate of the President and finally Director of International Relations.

Jérôme was twice a candidate to replace Blatter in FIFA’s presidency elections of 2016.
Jérôme is thrilled to teach the governance course to The FBA students by sharing his insights on the globalization of football, its governance, its international role and giving his view on how football could change to become more ethical and sustainable.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row bg_type=”bg_color”][vc_column][vc_column_text][wp_posts_carousel template=”light.css” post_types=”post” all_items=”20″ show_only=”id” exclude=”” posts=”” ordering=”asc” categories=”8″ relation=”and” tags=”” show_title=”true” show_created_date=”false” show_description=”true” allow_shortcodes=”false” show_category=”false” show_tags=”false” show_more_button=”false” show_featured_image=”true” image_source=”thumbnail” image_height=”100″ image_width=”100″ items_to_show_mobiles=”2″ items_to_show_tablets=”4″ items_to_show=”5″ slide_by=”1″ margin=”0″ loop=”true” stop_on_hover=”false” auto_play=”true” auto_play_timeout=”3000″ auto_play_speed=”500″ nav=”true” nav_speed=”500″ dots=”true” dots_speed=”500″ lazy_load=”false” mouse_drag=”true” mouse_wheel=”false” touch_drag=”true” easing=”linear” auto_height=”false” custom_breakpoints=””][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
